Picture Time: A Weekend in Paris

Bonjour mon amis! It's time for another picture time, which is all about my trip to Paris during the long Easter weekend.

We drove to Paris on Friday morning and as soon as we arrived we made our way to the Hotel. We stayed in the Novotel Paris Les Halles, which is very nice and has a perfect location. After we checked in we headed out to Laduree for a coffee and macaroon break. I love Laduree macaroons so this was the perfect start of the weekend.

I had to take a picture of the bathroom at Laduree because it was so pretty.

And since I was taking pictures anyway, it was also a great opportunity for a mirror selfie.

We then walked to the Opera building, which is very impressive.

Of course we also had to make a stop at Galeries Lafayette, which has the most amazing ceiling.

At dinnertime we opted for pizza and I noticed that they had potatoes as a pizza topping, which I had to try. I expected the combination to be quite weird but it actually tasted very nice together. So a thumbs up for potatoes on pizza.

We of course had to pay the Eiffel Tower a visit and I prefer to go there at night since it looks so beautiful when it's lit. The tower momentarily has the colors of the Belgium flag.

Breakfast time on Saturday morning.

A little behind the scenes of my Paris look book, we filmed at the gardens of Palais Royal.

We crossed the Seine to go to the Notre Dame and had this typical Paris street view with the Eiffel Tower in the Background :).

We stumbled upon this adorable flower market close to the Notre Dame.

Afterwards we had a stroll on the  Champs-Elysées and went to Laduree again, because there is no such thing as too many macaroons :).

On Sunday we went to Versailles to visit the Castle, which was so big and impressive.

The inside was also absolutely gorgeous with a lot of marble and chandeliers.

It wouldn't be a day in Paris without some pastry, so I went for a delicious eclair.

After we toured the castle it was time to tour the garden, which is enormous.

After a long walk in the gardens we drove back home to the Netherlands in the evening. I had an amazing Easter weekend and feel fully recharged for the coming week, which is going to be crazy busy.

How was your Easter weekend?
