Picture Time: a weekend in Brussels

This past weekend I was in Brussels for a wedding, which was a good reason for another Picture Time. So come along with me to Brussels.

I arrived in Brussels Friday afternoon and decided to get some coffee at Le Pain Quotidien,

which was located in the Saint-Hubert galleries. Look at the gorgeous ceiling of the galleries.

Brussels is well known for its chocolate and everywhere you looked were chocolate stores with the most amazing window displays, making it really hard to resist all the chocolate.

Saturday was the day of the wedding. The wedding took place at a gorgeous castle just outside Brussels. Weddings are very private in my opinion so I did not take that many picture. I did however take one to share the beautiful table decor with you.

On Sunday we all slept in and decided to meet up for a late breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien. How gorgeous is this breakfast and it was delicious too.

We then decided to do a small tour throughout Brussels, which we started at the Grand-Place

and of course we had to take a picture of Manneken Pis.

The next stop on our tour was Laduree, which had a gorgeous window display.

which we ate in a cute little park in the sunshine.

Afterwards I went back to the train station, to go back home. I had a lovely weekend and Brussels is definitely worth a visit.

How was your weekend?
